Who is Norm Blackwell? Coyote and beaver trapper, bobcat cage and raccoon cage maker and more

by

N and J Company logoSome of you might be wondering who Norm Blackwell is. I mention him on some of the radio shows. You have seen him on some videos on Wolfer Nation and on our You Tube channel. I have given out his number to a lot of you for getting your bobcat and raccoon cage traps. So who is he, well I guess I should let you know about the man, the myth and the Fat Head sticker I might get on my shop wall one of these days.

I meet Norm years ago giving him some business instruction. Since then we have become friends and we work some together. Norm is a lure and bait maker. His Company is called N&J trapping. He runs a ADC company in GA, gives personal instruction and is an instructor at our Texas Predator School. Besides being a hell of a trapper, he is a good friend and a great wild game cook. If you come to the predator school, he will be feeding you…..you don’t want me in the kitchen.

He has made some good money in the coyote live market, plus calls coyotes in with an AR. You might seem him catching beaver for several counties in GA and some utility companies.

Most of you have seen some of his videos on here and You Tube. Most of the footage is us using our bobcat cage traps…. that Norm makes in his shop. Not only does he make the cat cages, he makes our multi-raccoon cage trap along with some cool colony traps for muskrats. You may be thinking he has no time, which is true. Saying that, he will be making our new beaver multi-cage beaver traps and a new product that will speed up any trapper on his line. We have not come up with a name for it yet.

trapping tv norm blackwellIn all of Norms free time, he is part of the TRAPPER TV crew that will be live soon. If you ever get to his shop, you will smell a loud screaming odor of all kinds of fish oil. He is making all his fish and gator oil the old school way. As soon as you smell it, you will tell a quality difference. One product he is making is a real, true, fresh crawfish oil. It is not the stinky stuff most are calling crawfish oil. Right now you can get some from F&T. They are the only ones selling it at this time. It is the oil you have been dreaming about.

Norm does not know I am posting this, it will probably embarrass him. I don’t really care…because that is what friends are for. I just thought since I mention him and you see him sometimes on here, you should know who he is.

You did notice that I did not say he puts up fur, his wife Jen does that. Talk about a great women for Norm to have as a wife. Not only does she put up most of the fur, she catches a few piles of it all by herself, but that is another story.
