Out of State Trapping Tip, Brandon Johnson from Trapping TV

trapping tv trap tipIf y’all want to catch lots of fur you need to have lots of traps!! For the
past few days I have been getting all my gear ready and loaded for my trip down
south. I am going to be running lots of 330 body grip traps for beaver and otter but that’s not
the only traps I will be taking. When you are state hopping and don’t no what the
critter populations are or have not been able to scout you need to be prepared
for anything. With that said I will have a 100 or so coyote, fox and bobcat traps and a few
hundred dog proof traps. So if the beaver and otter population is not there I will still be
able to switch gears and have a successful trip!

  1. I’m excited for the show! Quick question, where do you put up your fur when you are state hopping? Trailer or? Looking to get into long lining next season
